We’re Official: Bendigo Western Jerky Has PrimeSafe Approval

After 12 months of work, testing, paperwork, improvements, waiting, and a lot of persistence, we are proud to announce that Bendigo Western Jerky has officially received PrimeSafe approval.

This is a massive milestone for us.

Bendigo Western Jerky started with a simple idea: to make proper, great-tasting jerky with bold flavours, quality ingredients, and a bit of Bendigo country attitude. What followed was a much bigger journey than we first expected.

Over the past year, we have worked through the approval process, refined our systems, completed the required checks, and made sure everything was in place to meet the standards required to operate properly and safely.

It has not been quick.

It has not always been easy.

But it has absolutely been worth it.

What This Means

PrimeSafe approval means we can now move forward properly with Bendigo Western Jerky and start making our products available to customers.

For us, this is more than just a licence. It is the point where all the work behind the scenes starts turning into something real.

It means we can now take the next steps with:

• Finalising product stock

• Getting the website ready for orders

• Preparing our full flavour range

• Attending markets, rodeos, and events

• Building Bendigo Western Jerky into a proper local brand
